Trinity College, Dublin (corporately designated as the Provost, Fellows and Scholars of the College of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Queen Elizabeth near Dublin) is located in the heart of Dublin opposite the former Irish Parliament. It was founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I and was intended to be the "mother of the university", and is the only constituent college of the University of Dublin. Trinity College is Ireland's oldest and most prestigious educational institution. The college itself is very beautiful and worth a wander through the arched entrance and through to its greens. It has many attractions that are well worth visiting.
