Temple Bar area, Dublin

Temple Bar is also known as
Dublin
's cultural quarter and is packed with bars and pubs. There is a unique nightlife here compared to the rest of the city. People stand out in the main square and enjoy the atmosphere or hit the pub scene. Culturally, this area has plenty of bars which serve as venues for Irish music: one of the country’s great cultural patrimonies. Here you can hear everything from rock to folk to traditional Irish music, played with traditional instruments if you are very lucky. It is always a rowdy good time, with the congenial Irish singing along to familiar tunes, you’ll probably find yourself joining in, even if you don’t know the words!
