St Patrick's Park is a large, 398 acre park with wooded trails, ponds and frontage along the St. Joseph River. Here you can bring the family and enjoy the picnic sites, use the playgrounds, go on hikes through the wooded areas and even cross country ski in the winter! Canoes can also be rented to explore the bodies of water in the park including its river and creek. There is frisbee or disk golf which is loads of fun for a day out away from the bustle of the city. In fall there are hayrides. The largest trees in Ireland can be seen in this park. It is located on Laurel Road, north of Auten, in South Bend
