St Ann's Church, Dublin
St Ann's Church, Dublin

Located in the heart of Dawson Street in central Dublin, St. Ann’s Church was built in 1707 based on a design by Isaac Wells. In the early days during the reign of Queen Anne, members of the Royal Family, Crown Officials and local gentry were regular attendants of mass. Though the interior of St Ann's dates back to the 18th Century, the striking Romanesque facade wasn't added until 1868. Among those who have wed at this church was Bram Stoker, famous for having authored Dracula. Services provided by St Ann’s include the Friendly Room Cafe where all are invited for tea, coffee, soup and sandwiches. The church has gone cyber with an internet café where you can learn and experience the internet in the relaxed atmosphere of a church.
