Refurbishment, St Patrick's Cathedral
Refurbishment, St Patrick's Cathedral

Saint Patrick’s Cathedral is in the centre of Dublin and commemorates Saint Patrick, patron saint of Ireland. You can visit the well where tradition says that Saint Patrick baptised several converts. The building as it stands today was built in 1212 and has undergone several refurbishments over the years. You can visit the cathedral until 17:00 on weekdays (Mon - Fri) unless you attend evensong. Visits to the Cathedral are self-guided, although the staff is always happy to answer any questions. This is a functioning church with regular mass services so keep in mind that no visitors are admitted from 10.45-12.30 and 14.45-16.30 on Sundays except for worship. The Cathedral is closed to visitors on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Saint Stephen's Day
