The first thing you notice about Ireland as you get off the plane, or if you’re lucky enough not to have cloud cover as you descend into Dublin, is that this country is bursting with every imaginable shade of green. Both from on high and on the ground, it is abundantly clear how the Ireland earned the name Emerald Isle. Of course, as in every city, it is easy to get swept up in the concrete jungle, lured by shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Though in Dublin it would be a shame to avert the more verdant places and drink in some of the most dazzling green you’ll ever lay eyes on. Fortunately, within the city, green spaces are abundant and easy to find, one might even go as far as to say that they are unavoidable.
