For those who come to get a little shopping done, Grafton Street (Sráid Grafton in Irish) is one the two main shopping centres in the capital of Ireland. Grafton starts at St. Stephen's Green in the south and ends in College Green in the north. The street is mainly pedestrian, transformed from a traffic-choked street in the 1980’s. Apart from many different shops, the Trinity College Provost House is located here. Don’t miss the statue of the famous Molly Malone: the song about her tells the tale of a beautiful fishmonger who sold her wares on the streets of Dublin, but died young of a fever. There are plenty of buskers (street performers) along this street which makes it quite entertaining even if you aren’t shopping.
