Dublin in the summer

Perpetually pelted by rain or covered in thick ominous clouds is the erroneous image that many have of
Dublin
. A typical day in Dublin is a melange of clouds, possibly a little rain and but also glorious blue skies with brilliant sunshine: these three states of weather are not mutually exclusive for a day in and frequently happily coexist all within the same hour. This constantly changing meteorology creates a dramatic effect of suspense: you never can be sure what will happen. As they say, if you don’t like the weather, wait 15 minutes. This maligned and misunderstood city in terms of weather does also enjoy a few glorious days of summer, mainly in August, which are mild and pleasant, at a 20ºC maximum, approximately. Despite this, you’d be wise to bring your mac or rain slicker or at least an umbrella!
