Dame Street, Dublin

Dame Street (Irish: Sráid an Dáma) is a large thoroughfare in Dublin, Ireland. It is the location of Ireland's oldest university, Trinity College Dublin (founded in 1592), and its beautiful grand entrance is a popular meeting spot. Dame Street is also a financial centre, with many banks located here such as AIB, Ulster Bank and the Central Bank of Ireland. During the day, the street is teeming with people due to its very central location and many sites nearby. It is a 5 minute walk to Grafton Street and 10 minutes from O'Connell Street, Dublin's two most famous streets. At the other end of the Dame Street is Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin's oldest medieval cathedral built in 1038. It would be a difficult feat to visit Dublin and miss Dame Street.
