The Maples Hotel was a great place to stay, Myself and three of my friends stayed there for a concert, The room was very clean, newly decorated. The staff at the reception were very friendly and cooperative, It was within walking distance to everywhere, very handy to get to on the lucas, we didn't make breakfast so I can't comment on that. we'll definitely stay there again in the future.
Hotel familiar, muy bien situado para conocer la ciudad, mas que correcto desayuno, muy cerca de la terminal de autobuses que enlaza con el aeropuerto
Good afternoon. I've been in Dublin since October and I stayed there for a week so I can't give you an objective opinion about the accommodation. It's located in Dublin 1, close to O'connolly Station (train),5-6 min walking from Luas Station, 5 min to O'connell Street and Henry Street (famous because there are a lot of shops and shoppings centers there), and 15min walking to Temple Bar, Trinity College, Molly Mallone and Grafton Street, so the location is really good. The staff it's simply good. It depends on the person who is in the reception. For the spanish people who speaks just a few english there is an argentinian guy working in the reception. The cleanliness is his main weakness. Just one day in a week the staff cleaned our room with the vacuum cleaner and never in a week cleaned the bath so it's really bad. We usually did our bed but not at all correctly and when we arrived each day the bed was exactly as we did. The breakfast is normal (toasts with butter and jam "mermelada" and small irish breakfast, not full irish breakfast as in the offer they said. Ths small irish breakfast contains: eggs, sausage, bacon and beans). It dind't pleased us but it's better than nothing (normally irish cuisine is worst than spanish, italian or french. But this is something subjective). If you are looking for a cheap hostel just to sleep and close to the city center it's a good place to stay.
La situación del alojamiento era inmejorable, pero la cama doble era muy pequeña.
The standard of decoration in the bedroom and en suite was very poor. A double bed which only fitted into the room by being pushed against the wall does not count as a double bed! The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
