The room was quite small, and had a very strong smell of cigarettes (someone was smoking there before we arrived), our room faced a pub and was quite noise during the morning (cleaning up the pub). Although the hotel is great located.
Based on the room you are allocated, you could have 2 totally different experiences. The room my husband and I stayed in was no more than an oversized neglected closet located at the back of the hotel by the dumpsters where the noise back and forth was intolerable in the early hours. By comparison, my in-laws' room was spacious with a feeling of luxury and incredibly quiet. So I felt a little cheated by the hotel that we didn't receive the same service. However, when we complained to the front desk, we were issued with a complimentary breakfast which we felt was a nice offering on the hotel's part.
The hotel was in a very good position, very central. I found it easy to walk everywhere from there. I've never seen so many bars and restaurants in one location! One or two minus points, the drainage pipe ran through the back of the wardrobe on the inside! The sound insulation especially between rooms needs to looked into.
