The 3 star Travelodge Dublin Airport Ballymun is conveniently located just four kilometres from Dublin Airport and five kilometres from Dublin City centre. Taking just a short stroll around the area, you will be able to reach the Helix Theatre, Dublin City University, and many unique shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. Furthermore, if you have a car, you can take a short drive to some of Dublin’s beautiful coastline at Malahide and Howth. A taxi from the airport should take approximately five minutes, so this hotel is really ideal for arrival by air. In your room you will also find coffee and tea making facilities, Wi-fi internet, telephone, heating and hair-dryer. Some of the hotel amenities are 24 hr reception, private car park, wheelchair access and Wi-fi internet in public areas. Breakfast is not included in the price but the Metzo restaurant in the hotel serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner at an added cost. Esta bien conectado con el la linea de autobuses, pero el servicio de limpieza deja mucho que desear
großes Zimmer, TV-Programme sollte evtl. 1-2 deutschsprach. Sender erhalten. tägl. Handtuchwechsel für 1 Person war nicht unbedingt notwendig.
The Ballymun Travelodge is clean and comfortable but the surrounding area resembled a demolition site. There was a full housing estate including flats of varying heights being demolished. The local shopping centre was very poor and filthy. The taxi journey from Dublin airport cost 16 euros so it is quite a distance. There was a local bus service from the hotel to the city centre which was regular at every 10 mins. The taxi fare would have been expensive at around £16 euros again. The city itself has a vast array of shops and we spent about 6 hours walking around. I would recommend a map as it is easy to get lost. The prices are much more expensive than home (Leeds) and that includes the shops and bars. In fact it was cheaper to buy an meal and drink in the Travelodge accommodation than in the city. In my opinion Dublin is a place to drink and drink and drink. If drinking is not your thing...don't go. The Airport duty frees do not apply apply either if you are travelling from England. Duty frees are more expensive in the airport than the shops.!!
El hotel estaba bastante bien, en cuanto calidad precio. Quizás la unica cosa que debería mejorar es incluir en el precio el desayuno.
