The Backpackers D1 Hostel Dublin is an affordable place to stay in the centre of Dublin city. The accommodation is simple but comfortable and clean, and all of the rooms have private bathrooms. So, although you'll be saving money you won't be missing out on comfort. Also, the location couldn't be better; O'Connell Street is just around the corner, Temple Bar is a short stroll away, as are Trinity College, Grafton Street, Dublin Castle and St. Stephen's Green. Also, in the area there are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants, as well as supermarkets and clothes shops. There are 20 rooms in total, with the choice between staying in a double room with double bed, triple room with three single beds, or a quad room with bunk beds. All of the rooms have Wi-Fi internet, TV, heating, hair-dryer and safe. Note that towels are supplied at a small extra charge. Breakfast isn't included in the price, but guests have access to the kitchen, so you can save money by preparing your own meals, or you can head to one of the cafes in the area and get yourself a traditional Irish breakfast. Smoking is permitted and pets are allowed in the hostel, and guests can avail of the left-luggage office, TV lounge and Wi-Fi internet in the common areas.
