Possibly one of the most modern and fun hostels in Dublin, the Jacobs Inn Hostel is located on Talbot Place, which is very close to O'Connell Street and the River Liffey. The interior of the hostel is very clean and fresh looking, and the atmosphere is very friendly and open, so this is a great place for backpackers to stay. Near to the hostel are all the main attractions of Dublin; Temple Bar, Trinity College, Guinness Brewery, Grafton Street, St. Stephen's Green and the National Gallery of Ireland are all within a short walking distance. In the hostel, there are room options available for everybody. For those on a budget, you can choose the rooms with bunk beds which sleep between five and ten, and their own bathroom with a shower. Then, on the upper floors of the hostel, there are rooms which sleep from one to four people. In these rooms there are private bathrooms, wardrobes, laptop safes and televisions. The hostel offers a movie night every Sunday and Wednesday, when guests get free popcorn. Also, the breakfast is included in the price of your stay and consists of orange juice, tea or coffee, and brown bread with butter and jam. There's even free Wi-fi available, as well as free use of board games, free maps and walking tours.

Very basic, no soap, shampoo or tv in the rooms, but then again you get what you pay for. The location is excellent and its very clean, but if you can afford it I would go somewhere they provide the basic toiletries.
Breakfast was dissapointing, just toast or cereal but again its budget!Translate this guest review
Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Bien situé à 2 pas des principales attractions du centre ville. Locaux modernes et dortoirs très corrects. La SDB privée est vraiment un plus !
